Alice in the Land of Clovers – November 29th.

While I love talking Nanowrimo, I have strategically taken a break in posting for this; It’s that time of the month again, guys.

And we have a new series.

Let’s talk Alice: Pick a Card

There were two facts that I was sure of; Wonderland was not real and I, Alice Grey, was a very ordinary young woman—it was impossible for me to be otherwise.
Or so I thought.
I had begun to accept that my father would not return from the war when his pocket watch mysteriously reappears and is stolen by a white rabbit. But just as I give up on catching the rabbit, I fall into a hole, landing somewhere that is most certainly not Oxford.
I soon realize that this is the Wonderland my father had told me stories about. But the White Rabbit of my father’s story is no longer a rabbit, he’s a man– a king even, one with three charming brothers, all heirs to a far greater throne. Only one of them is destined to become the King of Cards and rule over all– and he needs a queen.
Unfortunately, I have no interest in being anyone’s queen or falling in love; all I wish to do is return to Oxford. However, I cannot do it alone, I have to put my trust in someone. But the characters of Wonderland are far from ordinary and even further from trustworthy– Each seems to have their own agenda, and someone does not want me to leave Wonderland at all.
If I stay, I could lose everything I’ve ever known, and if I leave, I could lose everything I’ve ever wanted.

If you’re part of my newsletter, you’ll be getting a first look at the first two chapters of Alice tomorrow, and if you’re part of my ARC team or on my favorite ARC distribution networks, you’ll be able to catch a copy starting tomorrow as well.

But let’s go through the basics, shall we?

What is Pick a Card?

Alice: Pick a Card, or Pick a Card as I’ve been shorthanding it, is a five book New Adult series in which Alice not only attempts to solve the mystery of her father’s disappearance, but also escape Wonderland.

The order of said books is: Clovers, Diamonds, Spades, Hearts, and Joker.

Is this a kissing book?

Quite simply, yes. There is a lot of kissing in these books.

Is there sexual content?

There is sexual content in these books.

Will there be additional content for Alice?

Yes. There will be free prologues available on my website starting launch day for every book following the character whose card suit coincides with the books title. Starting with the Hatter, who coincides with the Clovers (clubs) suit. There will also be an additional series epilogue available after the Joker book, which will be made available to newsletter subscribers first and then released on my website a week later. I’m on the fence about writing a Joker prologue, but right now I’m leaning towards a yes for that as well.

There will also be a poll. This poll is solely for my own entertainment. If you like the series and you want it to be known which king you prefer, you can use said poll to voice it.

Will the entire Alice series be available on Kindle Unlimited?

Yes. All five books will be published on Kindle Unlimited and eventually available in hardback. A complete edition will come out much like the Chronicles of Whynne and I will compile all of the prologues and additional content in it. The complete edition will, unfortunately, not be available in print solely because I do not currently work with a publisher who prints 1,500 page books. This does not mean I won’t try.

My god will I try.

How often will an Alice book release?

Good question. The goal is monthly. If you want to get updates about the whole monthly thing and catch snippets of my upcoming series (and perhaps an upcoming standalone Neverland book once Alice is over, wink, wink) then you should join my newsletter above, where I update things! And am responsible! And show my dog!

If I were, by chance, interested in picking up a copy of In the Land of Clovers, where could I find it?

I present to you an Amazon listing that has hopefully updated! Where you can preorder things, or add In the Land of Clovers to a list so that you may get a nice notification someday about it!
